The Winning Residential Primary Bath Renovation
BEFORE THE RENOVATION:
The goal for this space was to inject more personality and intentional design into a dull and lackluster Primary Bath. The clients were hoping for an updated bathroom with more function and an overall peaceful and fresh aesthetic. To accomplish this, the shower and existing tub locations were flipped, allowing the shower to expand and the dated deck mounted tub to be replaced with a smaller scale freestanding bathtub. The patterned floor tile created the pallet for the room, allowing the coordination of all finishes and fixtures in a cohesive and intentionally coordinated space that breathes calm.

BEFORE THE RENOVATION:
This Simonini kitchen renovation was voted on by this year’s followers and 2020 CotY participants. Our clients, a vibrant newlywed couple, dreamed of a space that captured the essence of their inviting personalities. Burdened with an awkward existing layout that separated the kitchen and main living areas, their goal was to create a unified entertaining space. To achieve this, unnecessary elements were relocated for better functionality, and emphasis was placed on the symmetrical plan. This included relocating the laundry room and removing a dividing wall to expand the kitchen size. In addition, windows were relocated to create symmetry on the range wall, and an enlarged island was centered in the space for ample food prep.
