The clients wanted a drastic change to their dark, crowded primary bedroom and bathroom to a classic, elegant and bright, modern look. At first, this bathroom had dark cabinetry and finishes, and did not allow for much natural light to come in. The new program expands the primary bath to incorporate two separate vanities, a freestanding tub, and an overall home grander and lighter look and feel. With vanities on opposite sides of the room, a dual shower, and a window in the middle, the floor plan has been made more symmetrical. The clients wanted to refresh their home to feel more like the lake house that it is on Lake Norman.
